First day

My first day, I was very nervous going into this classroom because I have never worked with children this young and I know sometimes new faces scare the infants.  But as I approached the room the teacher was prepared to show me around and introduce me to the children. As I looked with a smiling face under my mask the infants and some toddlers looked at me with a smile and a stare.   I know going into this Field experience I am prepared to not only be more attentive but follow the cues of the Infants therefore, responding to their needs and addressing them.  I also know each communication interaction is unique at this age level but the teacher eased me with her passion for the children.  As my MT was engaged with the children by her singing and dancing at their eye level.  The children responded with smiling, giggling, and doing some movements.
